Job description

  • Planning and delivering your own lessons in line with the current curriculum.
  • Monitoring pupils' development in line with individual targets.
  • Managing and reporting behaviours or incidents in a professional manner.
  • Developing and adapting teaching methods to enhance each pupil's learning potential.
  • Marking and assessing classwork and homework.
  • Liaising with staff members and parents respectfully and professionally.

Requirements :

  • Experience teaching upper or lower KS2 pupils.
  • Effective communication skills with staff and parents.
  • Professional liaising with safeguarding team.
  • Genuine passion for motivating and developing pupils' learning.
  • Availability to work full time during term time.
  • Ability to mark pupils' work and set relevant targets.

    • To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must :

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.
  • Be a qualified teacher.
