My client is looking for a motivated and skilled Geotechnical / Geo-environmental Engineer to join their Sheffield office. This is your opportunity to work on a broad variety of ground engineering and environmental projects that shape communities and safeguard the future. The Opportunity As part of their growing geotechnical and geo-environmental team, you’ll be involved in every stage of site investigation and assessment, from fieldwork to final reporting. Your day-to-day role will include : Site Investigations : Conducting and supervising site activities such as trial pitting, soakaway testing, borehole logging, foundation inspections, mine working grouting, and remediation verification. Technical Supervision : Overseeing on-site construction and remediation works, including foundation inspections, mine stabilisation, and contaminated land treatments. Report Writing : Producing comprehensive Phase 1 Desk Studies and Phase 2 Site Investigation Reports, Earthworks Specifications, Coal Mining Risk Assessments, and Verification Reports.
