Site Foreman

e are currently recruiting for an experienced Ganger / Site Foreman to support a major highways infrastructure project near Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile civil engineering scheme within a collaborative and safety-focused team. Key Responsibilities :

• Supervising and leading a small team on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Coordinating daily tasks in line with the programme of works.
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow.
• Ensuring adherence to all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
• Maintaining accurate site records and completing daily briefings and inspections. Essential Requirements :
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• CSCS card (active and valid).
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Proven experience working in highways or civil engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of site safety and ability to lead by example.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate on-site activities accordingly. Desirable :
• Experience working on National Highways or large infrastructure schemes.
