An exciting opportunity has opened for a Consultant Psychiatrist (Visiting Consultant) to partner with a leading independent hospital in Glasgow, known for its excellence in mental health, addictions, and eating disorder services. This sessional role allows you to manage your own outpatient practice with admitting rights to inpatient care.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will :

Lead the assessment and treatment of private outpatients

Oversee care for inpatients within your specialty

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support governance initiatives

Build your private practice within a well-resourced, supportive setting

Maintain clinical excellence and professional development

Consultant Psychiatrist - Candidate Requirements :

GMC registration with specialist registration (on the Specialist Register)

NHS Consultant experience (Mental Health, Addictions, or Eating Disorders)

Strong understanding of clinical governance & regulatory standards

Willingness to engage in flexible sessional work (PVG check required - funded)
