Structural Technician - Glasgow Location : Glasgow City Centre Salary : Competitive, plus excellent benefits First People Solutions is working with a well-established, multidisciplinary consulting engineer who are looking to add a Structural Technician to their growing team in Glasgow. About the Company Our client is a respected consultancy delivering innovative engineering solutions across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. With a strong project pipeline, you'll be involved in a diverse range of work, including Residential, Retail, Healthcare, Distilleries, Hospital and Education. The Role You'll play a key role in the structural design process, working closely with engineers and senior technicians to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and models. Key Responsibilities : Produce high-quality structural drawings and models Ensure designs meet current codes, standards, and regulations Liaise with engineers and wider design teams to coordinate project delivery Attend project meetings and provide ongoing technical support Contribute to the successful delivery of varied and challenging design projects What We're Looking For HNC / HND in Civil Engineering, CAD, or a related discipline Minimum of 3 years' experience in a design consultancy environment in the UK Strong AutoCAD skills; Revit experience is a plus, though training can be provided Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality Strong communication and teamwork skills What's in It for You?
