Join the vibrant team at SYTECH as we look for enthusiastic Digital Forensic Technicians!

In this important position, you'll be a key player in gathering, storing, and processing valuable data from a variety of complex systems to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Your efforts will not only guarantee the precision of our data but also elevate the overall integrity of our services.

In addition, you'll take on the rewarding responsibility of maintaining SYTECH’s high accreditation standards. This means closely aligning your work with established procedures, adhering to national guidelines, and following the rigorous ACPO protocols. You will also make sure that our processes meet the high standards set by ISO 17025. Your commitment will involve working smoothly alongside our current technical protocols and strong quality management system, ensuring that every task is performed with utmost care and excellence.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who are :

o Capable of ensuring that all tasks are performed in strict adherence to SYTECH’s Quality Management System as well as its accredited policies, procedures, and routines.

o Competent in executing tasks as directed and reporting any irregularities or potential risks of non-conforming work to the Laboratory Manager or Team Leader.

o Proficient in handling digital information across various formats.

o Committed to performing all work with precision and great attention to detail.

o Diligent about maintaining data security and integrity at all times.

o Prepared to potentially appear in court to present findings and conclusions under cross-examination.

o Responsible for keeping the examination laboratory organized, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained, and stored in designated locations when not in use.

o Eager to learn and master a comprehensive and intricate set of tools relevant to the department / team you are trained to work in, which includes – Cellebrite Touch / 4PC, Cellebrite Physical Analyzer, MSAB XRY, MSAB XAMN, Forensic Tool Kit, Magnet AXIOM, and X-Ways for extracting and processing digital data.

Internal training will be provided to facilitate your growth in this role, enabling you to become an expert in the field.

Starting salary : £23,000  -  depending on your experience, skills, and qualifications, plus the opportunity for growth based on your performance and contributions to the role.
