Job description

Job Title : Senior Residential Support Worker

Location : Winsford, Cheshire

Salary : £29,259 + £7,200 sleeps + £1,200 attendance bonus = £37,659 OTE

Working Hours : 2 on / 4 off shift pattern

Hourly Rate : £15 per hour

Number of Sleeps Required : Approx. 10 per month

Pay Per Sleep : £60 per sleep

Service : Children’s Home

Service Users : YPs aged 7 to 17 with EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)

Qualifications Required : Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent

Experience in Years Required : Experience as a Residential Support Worker or Senior RSW

Employment Type : Permanent

Number of Beds : 3-bed children’s home

Location : Winsford

Type of YPs : Children aged 7 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Ofsted Rating : Not disclosed

Ratio of staff to children : Not disclosed

Who we are looking for…

A Senior Residential Support Worker looking for a new challenge with a company they can progress with

An experienced Residential Support Worker ready to take the next step in their career

Someone who has completed or is enrolled on the Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare

Do not apply for this role if any of the following apply to you :

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car

You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care – this is not deemed equivalent

You have only worked in Healthcare, NHS, CQC-regulated services, or as a Nursery Practitioner

You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available

You have only worked in CQC settings and have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
