Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred Extensive experience working with UK Engineering Design - MEP and mechanical design Proficiency in relevant software and tools for design and analysis Strong understanding of industry codes and standards Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills Collaborating with the project team to develop mechanical designs that integrate seamlessly with architectural and structural elements Reviewing and approving design packages, calculations, and specifications Performing site visits and technical inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications Providing technical expertise and support to resolve engineering challenges Leading and participating in design review meetings to ensure project objectives are met
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UK Engineering Design - MEP and Mechanical Design. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of mechanical building systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on MEP systems and mechanical design
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated solutions for building projects
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
- Conduct feasibility studies, site visits, and perform assessments to support project development
