Building Control Manager - RBIs Location : Essex (Hybrid) Salary : Negotiable MMP is currently working with my client, a Local Authority in Essex, who is seeking a Building Control Manager (RBIs) to join their team! Purpose of the Job : To lead the Building Control team and ensure it operates effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with all statutory regulations and standards. The role involves delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service, driving operational improvements, ensuring financial efficiency, supporting staff development, and contributing to my client's strategic objectives and performance targets. Principal Accountabilities : Strategic Leadership Provide strategic leadership for the Building Control service, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, Building Regulations, safety standards, and my client's operational goals. Quality Management System Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of my client's Quality Management System (QMS), aligning with ISO 9001 standards and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Operational Standards Compliance Ensure full compliance with Operational Standards Rules (OSR), embedding them into daily processes and addressing non-conformances through effective management and audit practices.
