The Role
This role offers an opportunity to join the Adult Inpatient Psychology Service at consultant level on a permanent basis. As well as carrying a clinical caseload appropriate to the demands of the role, the post holder will be required to take a leadership role within the team and will have responsibility for the operational management and professional leadership of 0.85wte 8b and 2.0wte 8a clinicians within the service.

What we'll need you to bring
To be eligible for Registration as a Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist as per the requirements laid down by the British Psychological Society (BPS). That is,
EITHER
hold a post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, which includes academic, research and clinical components
be granted statement of equivalence by the BPS with respect to qualifications gained overseas
meet the requirements by having attained chartered status via the “grandparenting” route.
It would be great if you also have
Post Qualification training / CPD in Leadership
Maintain continuing professional development i.e. formal and informal postgraduate training, additional clinical experience etc. in the context of current British Psychological Society and HCPC guidelines
Further postgraduate training in supervision of trainee clinical / counselling psychologists and Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology
