    It would be great if you hold a manual driving licence as the individuals we support have their own mobility cars, however this isn't essential.

    The Role

    Our supported individuals have diverse needs, including Mental Health challenges, learning disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, addictions and past trauma. As a Support Practitioner in a trauma-aware practice, you'll play a vital role in empowering them to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their goals.

    As a Support Practitioner you will assist with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care. We're looking for someone who's ready to take an active interest in the hobbies and passions of those we support. Whether it's discovering new opportunities, encouraging social connections, learning new skills or reducing isolation, you'll help individuals lead the lives they choose.

    To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we'll need you to :

  • Have an empathetic and caring nature.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in using computers.
  • Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Shift Patterns

    Our new team will provide 24 / 7 support, including early shifts, late shifts, sleepovers, and potentially waking nights. Start and finish times may vary as the individuals settle into their new routines. The role will also include working weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.

    The sleepover part of your shift is not included in your contracted hours, so for every sleep you cover you will receive an additional £90.40 in your pay.
