SEN Teacher- North Yorkshire

An Group of SEN schools in the North Yorkshire region Veritas Education work with are looking for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teacher for a permanent role (Open to long term cover too), starting for the new academic year in September 2025.

Specialist SEN Teacher - North Yorkshire- September 2025 start- £165.00 - £255 per day (Equivalent to £31,650 - £43,607 Per Annum (M1 - M6))

• SEN allowances available between £2,679 - £5,285 Per Annum- Full time position.
• Previous Teaching / SEN Teaching is essential, with knowledge around SEN education and curriculum, along with knowledge around a varied curriculum for a range of age groups and needs.

Teacher Information :

You will be working with children across a range of classes who have varying special needs, including Autism, Complex Physical and Medical Needs, along with challenging behaviours. You will be adaptable, and will be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and creative lessons for pupils. The classes will be made up of small groups of 6 - 8 children, your timetable will be split around varying groups of pupils.
