We’re looking for a Clinical Practice Educator to join our Theatre teams at The Christie Private Care and The Wilmslow Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Duties & Responsibilities

  • The CPE actively participates in onboarding and orientation for nursing and healthcare staff, including developing, managing, facilitating, and evaluating programs.
  • Designs and delivers professional practice and quality care within the Theatre department.
  • Promotes and integrates evidence-based practice (EBP) to improve clinical practice; encourages research, EBP, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborates with partners and stakeholders to share experience in planning and decision-making.
  • Analyzes departmental results to identify opportunities for improving patient satisfaction and experience.
  • Supports strategic planning and business development in clinical education, including adopting new technologies to enhance service differentiation and growth.

What You’ll Bring

  • Current Operating Department Practitioner / Registered Nurse with HCPC / NMC registration.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.
  • At least 3 years of experience in clinical education and nursing within a Theatre setting in an acute hospital.
  • Flexibility to work across sites in the North West and occasional travel to London.
