Children’s Residential Support Worker - ASAP Start Location : Kirkham Contract : Temporary - Approx. 6-8 Weeks (Potential for Extension) Rate : £13.50-£15.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

P4 Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established Residential Childcare Provider to recruit an experienced and compassionate Children’s Residential Support Worker for a short-term assignment in Kirkham.

This is an immediate start role supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a nurturing, structured residential setting.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and actively safeguard the welfare of children and young people, reporting any concerns promptly and appropriately.

Assist in the implementation of care and placement plans, contributing to reviews, reports, and day-to-day planning.

Engage with children displaying challenging behaviours, using de-escalation and behaviour management strategies in line with care plans.

Support young people in developing life skills and making safe, informed choices about relationships, environments, and situations.

Maintain accurate, timely and clear records, ensuring effective communication and smooth handovers between shifts.
