Job Title : Commercial Gas Engineer (Service & Maintenance)

Location : Swindon & Surrounding Areas

Salary : Circa £50,000 per annum

About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing service and maintenance team, covering Swindon and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent, full-time role ideally suited to a proactive individual with a strong background in commercial heating systems, diagnostics, and maintenance.

As part of our dedicated engineering team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and fault-finding on a variety of commercial gas appliances and plant rooms across client sites in sectors such as healthcare and retail.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial heating and hot water systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on gas-fired boilers, warm air heaters, radiant tube heaters, and associated plant equipment.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with current gas regulations.
• Provide detailed service reports and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns as part of an on-call rota (additional pay applies).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in good working order.
