Job Title : Senior Project Engineer x7

Location : Motherwell, Scotland

Contract Type : PAYE Contract

Pay Rate : £75,000 - £90,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Working Hours : 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)

Contract Duration : 6 months (with potential extension up to 23 months)

Mandatory Requirements :

UK Citizenship (born in the UK)
Ability to pass security checks

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading defence project in Motherwell. You’ll be involved in delivering high-quality software products, working within a multi-disciplined team and adhering to recognised industry standards.

Responsibilities :

Produce innovative, high-quality software for defence developments.

Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team throughout the software development life cycle.

Mentor junior team members and take responsibility for both your own and others' work.

Lead assurance and review activities, ensuring compliance with configuration, release, and documentation standards.

Translate requirements into software designs, implement solutions, and manage integration, configuration, release, and deployment.

Essential Experience :

Background in Instrumentation and Control Engineering , or related field.

Experience with PLC programming , SCADA systems , and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) .
