A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
Schedule : Full-time, four 10 hour shifts starting at 5am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts.
This position will cross train in the acute program.

What You Can Expect :
Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are metPerform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and proceduresOngoing patient education, training and health coachingMonitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and familiesAdminister and chart all prescribed medicationsFollow CDC / CMS infection control regulationsParticipate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviewsDocument required patient education effortsFacilitate continuity of care with local hospitalsAssist in medication inventory maintenanceLead a small patient care teamContribute to onboarding new staff members as directedAdditional tasks as requestedQualifications
