Role Overview :

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1 : 1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social or emotional challenges. You’ll assist teachers by adapting lesson materials, helping manage behaviour positively, and supporting children to build communication, confidence, and independence skills. You’ll also monitor progress and share observations with the SENCo and teaching staff.

Who We’re Looking For :

Recent graduates (2025) with a 2 : 1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject

Some experience working with children or young people with SEN (in education, care, or voluntary roles)

Calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners

Passionate about inclusive education and keen to pursue a career in teaching, therapy, or educational psychology
